Chapter 3

My laptop is a Gateway and i use windows XP. When I first started chapter three I was not familiar with Macintosh operating system or Mac OS, nor was I familiar with the Unix and Linux operating systems. when it comes to working with the software applications that I am familiar with, I found that I knew it very well. I am good at changing fonts, point sizes, and inserting tables and graphs.

The section that interested me the most was graphics and multimedia software. I put a lot of pictures on my computer, and i like to scan/import pictures as well. I thought it was the most interesting of all the sections because photo editing with programs like paint and photo shop is something i like to do and do very often.

Last week we learned how to create a news letter. Chapter three covers a lot of what we learned last week in class. The section on the word processing software was easy to follow because we had just worked on inserting clip art and borders and all that jazz.

First off; Gateways suck. No offense. You're a cool person.

Chapter three was cool, and you offered a pristine analysis of it. Despite it being written on a Gateway.

Macs are so much better...just an FYI. there are no viruses anddddd everything comes in cool pictures instead of start-up menus. you pay for what you get!

but i agree with everything else.

Laptops often burn your laps, so people put them on their desk, but its still not being called a desk top. This flagrant discrimination causes hate and endorses violence. Just like Tom shows, cumputers can cause aggresion towards others. This viscious cycle has got to end.
